Outman welcomes Cops & Doughnuts owners to state Capitol

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Rick Outman, R-Six Lakes, welcomed Bubba and Ryno from Cops & Doughnuts in Clare to the Michigan Capitol on Tuesday to share doughnuts with fellow legislators and staff.

Outman had the treats brought in as part of an informal tradition many members participate in after having their first bill signed into law.

“The Cops & Doughnuts guys certainly lived up to their name,” Outman said. “They did a great job getting everything prepared and making the trip down to Lansing to help me celebrate this legislative milestone. I want to thank them on behalf of myself and all of my colleagues who joined me for a delicious treat this morning.”
